Qingdao TV Tower
青岛电视塔
Perched on Taiping Hill, Qingdao TV Tower rises 232m with the highest public observation deck in the city. On clear days: 360-degree views from Old Town red-tiled roofs to Huangdao coastline to Laoshan Mountain. Glass floor sections let you look straight down. Revolving restaurant exists but is overpriced — come for the view, eat elsewhere. Go after 4pm for daylight-to-dusk-to-city-lights transition.
